Glitch Mode Recordings is an artist collective based in Chicago, IL that releases electronic music in a variety of genres, including industrial rock, drum n' bass, electro, hip hop and digital hardcore. The roster includes Cyanotic (also the founding members of Glitch Mode), Rabbit Junk, The Named [formerly The Shizit] and Violet Winter among others, in addition to regular contributions from artists like Ad·ver·sary, Acumen Nation, DJ? Acucrack, 16 Volt, Left Spine Down, WaXaW and many more.
The return of The Shizit. One of the main influences for Cyanotic was always JP Anderson’s pre-Rabbit Junk project The Shizit, an intense mix of digital hardcore beats, metal guitars and rave synths. It’s been 8 years of silence, but The Shizit is back, now called The Named. 11 tracks featuring guest appearances by Cyanotic (plus two bonus updated Glitch Mode mixes). Spread the music like the audio plague it is.
