A hybrid of electronic, rock and industrial sounds and armed with a cutting-edge live performance, the band is ready to unleash its arsenal on audiences around the globe.
Reputation and word of mouth grabbed the attention of Vancouver-based label, Synthetic Sounds (SNFU, Left Spine Down), who signed the band in 2008 and soon afterwards released their debut full length album, Autraumaton, produced by Karl Schubach of Misery Signals and mastered by Shaun Thingvold (Skinny Puppy, Lamb of God, Strapping Young Lad). A supporting tour with Left Spine Down kicked off the record nationally in 2009 and has earned the band a reputation as compelling as their live show, an electronic-induced visual sensory overload.
2009 is marked with excitement for The Rabid Whole. With incessant touring, an unstoppable momentum and plans for their sophomore album already underway, The Rabid Whole is poised to transmit its sound to the masses.
