In the FiXT Store: new Squarehead and Defcon now available! 2 new Ad Noiseam pre-orders!

Those who pre-ordered the new full-length albums from Squarehead and Defcon rejoice - release day is upon you! Log on to the FiXT Store and get downloading! At the same time, we are adding two pre-orders from Ad Noiseam: a new EP from Enduser and a full album from Roel Funcken, one half of Funckarma. Both will be released March 29th.

Squarehead - Voltage Controlled Body Music

Expert EBM/Hard Techno from Sebastian R. Komor of Icon of Coil, Zombie Girl and Moonitor. Fifteen tracks plus one bonus early version of "Idiot" - over 93 minutes of music featuring guest vocals from Klayton of Celldweller, XINA and Zombie Girl!

Defcon - Flat Black Philosophy

Forging a path forward, DEFCON injects anger, violence, darkness, and death back into the increasingly flaccid world of electronic music. Inspired by both industrial and black metal, the sound of 'Flat Black Philosophy' is most definitely aggressive, angry, and extreme. In this latest release, DEFCON combine elements of old school industrial with modern elements of Terror EBM and Power Noise – seamlessly blended with the metal elements of growling vocals, screaming guitars and the occasional blast beat from live drums.

Enduser - 1/3

Following a pause in 2009, Enduser comes back with a blast in the form of the colossal "1/3" EP, in which he manages to top his past releases and shows that he is at the very top of his game. Melodious and intricate, pounding and powerful, “1/3” contains all the elements that have made Enduser such a particularly exciting act.

Roel Funcken - Vade

The debut solo album by one of the two Funckarma brothers, “Vade” is a deep and intense re- interpretation of many current electronic genres by one of the most praised actors of this scene. A painstakingly detailed, deep and ever-morphing release, this full length album sees Roel Funcken expressing his takes on dubstep, IDM and club beats, free of any boundaries and preconceptions. A particularly rewarding and mesmerizing album which confirms once again the talent of relevance of this producer.

Recently Added to the FiXT Store: Ad Noiseam - Enduser, Shitmat, Bong-Ra, Larvae, Submerged, Machine Girl

Live at the FiXT Store are five EPs of the best drum'n'bass and breakcore from Ad Noiseam. Turn on your subwoofers and brace yourself!

Bong-Ra, Enduser, Shitmat - Monsters Of Mashup

Bong-Ra, Enduser and Shitmat, three artists adept at the mashup, embarked in May 2005 on a long tour that brought them all over Europe. 'Monsters of Mashup' is the testimony of these three musicians' sound and an accurate snapshot of the sound they unleashed on their audiences.

Enduser and Submerged - Appropriate And Deface

On the tail of Enduser’s successful releases on Ad Noiseam, and introducing Submerged to the label, 'Appropriate and Deface' is a meeting of these two icons of the hard drum'n'bass scene, bringing a new face to a massive sound. Enduser is on everybody's lips for his expert combination of d'n'b and breaks and Submerged is known for unleashing monstrous bass through his Ohm Resistance label. The two had never worked together; a correction had to be made, and here is the fix. Hide the subwoofers.

Enduser and Larvae - Unraveled Ears

After having performed together, remixed each other (Larvae on Enduser's 'Bollywood Breaks' and Enduser on Larvae's 'Empire') and having been featured on many compilations together, Enduser and Larvae were bound to meet each other on wax. At the top of their form, Enduser and Larvae present here the definitive encounter between hard hitting breakcore and bass-heavy, dark drum'n'bass. With its high-level production and a great attention to the detail, 'Unraveled Ears' is a juggernaut of heavy beats, sudden breaks and sweeping low frequencies - a godsend for DJs, and a treat for all fans of clever hard tunes.

Enduser and Bong-Ra - The Kill

It can't get any better: Bong-Ra and Enduser get together for a big kill. Touring together in Europe in the Winter of 2007, they have paired here to offer an ear-shattering, subwoofer-wrecking, dancefloor-packing record which combines the best of both artists. From Bong-Ra's fast edits and forceful beats to Enduser's infectious bass lines and crunchy drums, 'The Kill' is a piece of music that anybody even remotely interested in breakcore will enjoy and cherish.

Machine Girl - Machine Girl - EP

Re-mastered, re-cut and given a whole record on their own, the four tracks written by Enduser and Line 47 back in 2003 get a second life on Ad Noiseam. Ranging from the most aggressive and noisy breakcore to melodic, syncopated material, the material on this record shows both producers at the top of their form and still is, 5 years after their original release on Sonicterror, a pearl of the breakcore scene.

Recently Added to the FiXT Store: Ad Noiseam - Detritus, DJ Hidden, Enduser

Now available in the FiXT Store are the following releases from Ad Noiseam artists:

Detritus - Endogenous

After a myriad of compilation tracks and a few demos that caused quite a stir in the hard electronic music scene, Welsh musician David Dando-Moore finally presents his first full length album, a compact collection of 10 tracks that ties together his influences of industrial, drum'n'bass, orchestral music, and dark ambient and carries them down a new road.

Detritus - Origin

Detritus's second album, 'Origin', takes this act's combination of clean and powerful drum'n'bass, deep strings and emotion-ridden melodies to a whole new level. Brilliantly produced, this album is a perfect combination of beauty and musical talent, of human feeling and driven beats. One does not often get an album which is satisfying both for the head, at home, and the feet, on the dance floor; Detritus is proud to present the perfect example.

Detritus - Thresholds

Coming out exactly a year after Detritus's second album, 'Origin', the shorter 'Thresholds' is both a perfect companion to its predecessor and a point of departure. Writing 'Origin' had been a very slow process for David Dando-Moore, aiming at offering a balanced and varied showcase of his music, while upping the ante as far as production and recording were concerned. 'Thresholds', on the other hand, was written over a much shorter time span in the Spring of 2006, and is more of a direct, compact and powerful statement.

Detritus - Fractured

Four years 'Endogenous' and two after 'Origin', David Dando-Moore (Detritus) presents 'Fractured', his third full-length studio album. Here he once again manages to both remain true to the elements that have made his success but bring them a step further.

Detritus - Things Gone Wrong

Detritus's fourth full length album is both a general update of what was hinted at with the previous three and the artist's opening to new territory. 'Things Gone Wrong' is very detailed, combining ferocious drum'n'bass moments with delicate and touching melodies; it caresses, kicks and impresses and stands as Detritus's most crafted album. A treat for the fan, and an excellent snapshot of what this act is about for the newcomers.

DJ Hidden - The Later After

After 25 releases on vinyl over the course of seven years (not counting the ones of his Outside Agency and Semiomime monikers), for such labels as Ruff Teck, Outbreak, Killing Sheep or Sub/Version, here at last is the first full length album by DJ Hidden. 'The Later After' presents an hour of new material ranging from hard, twisted drum'n'bass to downtempo atmospheric tracks. At once a long-overdue crowning for this musician and a perfect introduction for people who have been missing out, "The Later After" is the most accomplished and unequalled achievement yet by this impudently skillful producer.

DJ Hidden - After Before

The vinyl companion to the album 'The Later After' (adn73), DJ Hidden's 'After Before' presents on a 12" record two of the most club-oriented tracks from the album. A deadly tool for any DJ and the genesis of many packed dance floors, these two loud, slowly-building, insidious and agile tracks demonstrate DJ Hidden's ability at twisting the very roots of drum'n'bass and fusing them with his own high-fi production skills.

DJ Hidden - The Words Below

Offering a sequel to what is already seen as a masterpiece wasn't an easy task for DJ Hidden. And yet 'The Words Below' manages to take this producer's sharp, beautiful and percussive sound a step higher than 2007's 'The Later After'. Intense, crisp and varied, this new album doesn't only confirm that DJ Hidden is at the very top of the pyramid of drum'n'bass producers, but causes us to ask ourselves how we could have thought otherwise.

DJ Hidden - The Words Below Limited Vinyl Series Vol. 1

DJ Hidden - The Words Below Limited Vinyl Series Vol. 2

DJ Hidden - The Words Below Limited Vinyl Series Vol. 3

'The Words Below Limited Vinyl Series' (in September, October and December 2009) is a vinyl pendant to DJ Hidden's second full length album, with the first two volumes each containing three album tracks that have been re-edited and mixed with club DJs in mind and the final volume containing two exclusive remixes by DJ Hidden and Eye-D (the other half of The Outside Agency).

Enduser - Run War

Enduser's first full length album for Ad Noiseam presents a selection of 17 previously unreleased tracks recorded by Lynn Standafer between 2000 and 2004. Here are the tunes, played relentlessly at shows and parties, which paved the way to Enduser's well earned recognition. Old demo tracks were re-worked and re-mastered to meet the high quality of Enduser's most recent material.

Enduser - Bollywood Breaks

While Lynn Standafer's recent output might have roots in his current home of Cincinnati or in some back alley of Kingston, Jamaica, it is on the heights of the Himalayas and in the halls of Hindi temples that we find him this time. Never ceasing his quest to make the audience dance, Enduser aims this time at the belly rather than the feet, and invites his fans to an intercultural wedding. While the groom is the same noisy, loud bad boy, the bride is coming from the higher ranks of society and wears henna.

Enduser - Mashed Up And Beatdown

In 2004, Lynn Standafer had made you move your belly to the sound of his 'Bollywood Breaks' and returns here with a record paying tribute to one of his best known tracks, the rocket-propelled "Beatdown". This treat for daring DJs comes along with new, reworked versions by several labelmates.

Enduser - Pushing Back

A major contribution to Enduser's growing discography, 'Pushing Back' sees Lynn Standafer integrate new elements to his typically frenetic breakcore/drum'n'bass, and take listeners on a new memorable ride.
