The British electronica duo The Counterfeit Junkies have just released their debut album, Leaning From A Steep Slope. Their music has been compared to Moby, Zero 7, Thievery Corporation, and Röyksopp, and features many guest vocalists atop unobtrusive electronica tracks. The album opens with “Less Story More Groove”, a pulsating dance club record featuring Jess Penner, and moves seamlessly between lush chill-out of tracks like “The Only Place” (Where Anything Ever Happens)”, “How The Mighty Fall”, to the warm electro-pop hooks of “Do You Feel Love”, “All Day Long” and “Royal Flush”. The duo is also the creative force behind “Linear B,” the production team responsible for creating hundreds of lush music tracks for television shows.
